Evidence of Ignored Right-Wing Hate For Bill O'Reilly
5-30-08 -- I found these today, at www.conservativesforum.com, they are still there, and they even posted about me exposing their hate, it's the #1 conservative forum on the net at google, yet somehow O'Reilly and his crack staff could not find it?
This Conservative forum has 10 pages of hate speech against Ted Kennedy, with 15 replies per page, they not only wish for Ted Kennedy to die, they are proud of it, and attack anyone on the forum who tells them to stop the hate.

"Eric we are talking about Ted Kennedy He does not qualify as a Human."
This guy is a moderator there, and he dont care that I exposed their hate, all they care about is that their forum is getting known around town now.

Apparently, this forum seems to have been the subject of controversy lately on a couple of forums, with other forums posting links from here.
In this one, apparently someone seems to have gone to the less than honorable lengths of posting comments made on this thread. In this case, I shall offer them the same respect in return.
Could have been copied and posted there by someone who reads here; could have been provyded by someone who posts here.
Apparently, FreeRepublic is involved as well.
Don't know who the poster is who was whyning about it lyke a little byatch.
But I suppose the good news is, this forum is getting known around town somehow!
What say you Billy?
There it is, direct quotes of hate about Ted Kennedy from a Conservative forum, and I found them today, they were not deleted by a moderator, ever, none of them. And that is just a small sampling, there are many more like that, and worse. Unlike freerepublic.com who had the moderators delete all the postings that directly called for Kennedy to die, that forum did not remove any postings. A member was even terminated, but they still left his hate filled post calling for Kennedy to die on the forum.
It's Official: Bill O'Reilly is a Dishonest And Biased Lying Fraud
- 5-29-08 -- Even after sending that e-mail to O'Reilly, and all of his producers he still ignored it all, and never said a word about any of it on tonight's Factor. And that was after he asked for evidence of hate speech against Ted Kennedy on the right-wing blogs, websites, and forums on the tuesday Radio Factor. And after O'Reilly and Amanda Carpenter did the policing the net segment last night, where they both said no hate was said against Ted Kennedy by any right-wing blogs or websites.
It was all lies, from both of them, O'Reilly and Carpenter. They are liars, they not only lied about not finding any hate comments, they refused to report it when they were showed the hate comments. They ignored it all, hundreds and hundreds of postings calling for Kennedy to die, and they refuse to report any of it.
So it's now official, Bill O'Reilly is a dishonest, biased, lying, right-wing hack of a pretend journalist. He can no longer be called a journalist, the fact that he ignored everything I sent him, even after he asked for it, shows that he is the most dishonest man in the entire news business. In fact, his name and news should not even be mentioned in the same sentence.
Bill O'Reilly is a disgrace to journalism, he ignores most top news stories to spend his time talking about teachers who scold their students, kids dirty dancing, the R. Kelly sex tape trial, etc. That is tabloid news, not real news. It belongs on Entertainment Tonight, not a so-called news show. Then after asking for evidence of any hate against Ted Kennedy, he ignores it when it is sent to him. Just scroll down and look at the hate I have documented, then you will see it with your own eyes.
Then you should understand that all of it was sent to O'Reilly and every one of his producers, and sent this morning so they had time to investigate it. And he still ignored it all, every word of it. And he has the nerve to criticize the rest of the media for bias, when he is more guilty of bias than anyone else in the entire media. Look in the mirror O'Reilly, you are a joke, and the most biased right-wing partisan hack on any tv news show in America.
How Honest is Bill O'Reilly?
- 5-29-08 -- On the tuesday Radio Factor O'Reilly asked for evidence of right-wing hate on the internet, he told a caller that if he was given information on these right wing sites he would go after them.
Then last night on the TV Factor O'Reilly and Amanda Carpenter (from townhall.com) said they could not find any right-wing blogs or websites that called for Ted Kennedy to die.
I guess they never looked, because it was everywhere. The hate comments from the right were all over the forums at aol.com. They called for Ted Kennedy to die, and die now.
The hate was off the charts at the #1 Republican forum on the internet, www.freerepublic.com. The hate was also off the charts at the #1 Conservative forum at google, www.conservativesforum.com.
These are the two #1 Republican forums on the internet, so how could O'Reilly and Carpenter miss it?
Well this morning I sent an e-mail to O'Reilly and every one of his producers, with evidence of the massive hate. Now we will see just how honest O'Reilly is, if they do not report it tonight he is a total fraud.

O'Reilly Caught Lying About Kennedy Hate Speech on Republican Websites
- 5-28-08 -- Tonight O'Reilly was caught red handed lying about the hate from the right, in the policing the net segment with the right-wing Amanda Carpenter from www.townhall.com. At the end of the segment O'Reilly asked her about reaction to Ted Kennedy's seizure on the right-wing blogs and websites.
She said almost nobody at townhall.com said anything bad about Kennedy, and that nobody called for him to die or anything like that. Then she said the few comments that were bad were instantly removed by the moderators.
O'Reilly asked her if she saw any bad comments about Kennedy on any other right-wing blogs or websites, and she said no. Then O'Reilly said he did not see any either. And that none of the right-wing blogs or websites had anyone call for Kennedy to die like the left-wing blogs and websites have done.
That means they are both not only deaf, dumb, and blind, they are bold faced liars. They are both massive liars, the right-wing forums and websites were filled with hundreds, if not thousands of comments calling for Kennedy to die. The hate and the amount of comments were stunning, yet O'Reilly and Amanda Carpenter claim they never saw any of it.
They were made at www.freerepublic.com, and www.conservativesforum.com, and many other right-wing websites, blogs, and forums. They were so bad the moderators at freerepublic.com had to lock 4 different threads and delete the hate comments as fast as possible, one thread alone had 897 replies with 40,000 views. The other forum never deleted any of them, and they are still there right now, all 10 pages of them.
They called Kennedy a fat pig who should die, and die soon, and a lot more just like that, and much worse. I document it here. Go look for yourself.
And I also report on some of them in my blog. Just scroll down and look at it. I even published some of their comments. O'Reilly ignored the whole story for a week and a half, then lied about it tonight, as if none of it never happened, and that's fair and balanced journalism?
If this is not right-wing bias from O'Reilly, there is no such thing. It's one of the most biased and dishonest things I have ever seen O'Reilly do, it's that bad.
O'Reilly Sort of Covered The McClellan Book Story
- 5-28-08 -- O'Reilly called it a Judas move, and said there was no headline in the book, also said McClellan was just doing it for money. Then he had Dick Morris on to discuss it, no liberal or anyone to give the counterpoint. It was pretty much a 9 minute right-wing hit job on McClellan and the book, by O'Reilly and Morris, without even discussing anything that was in the book. On Hardball they actually read quotes from the book, then spent the whole hour discussing what was in the book.
O'Reilly basically dismissed the whole book as nothing but lies, and said there was nothing there, just the same old stuff, and he said McClellen just wants to make some money. O'Reilly told Morris the book is ridiculous and there is nothing there. Not one quote was read from the book, and nothing in the book was mentioned.
When there is a lot there, it confirms what everyone was thinking, and provides detailed evidence about the Bush propaganda on Iraq, how Cheney is the magic man who runs everything, the Plame leak, Katrina, and a lot of other things. And this is coming from the guy who was on the inside, he was in the loop. He was in the meetings, he saw it first hand.
Yet O'Reilly says there is nothing there, he basically put out the talking points from the white house. He never quoted anything from the book, or discussed any of the details. He did a talking points memo on it, then talked about it for 4 minutes with Dick (the hooker toe sucker) Morris, with nobody to give the counterpoint. And that's a no spin zone?
If you want details on whats in the book watch the hardball re-run or keith olbermann. They actually covered whats in the book, not just trash it and put out spin for the white house as O'Reilly did. It was a pathetic report on the book, even for O'Reilly, all he did was scream and yell how the book is rididulous and there is nothing there, without actually reporting anything that was in the book, and his boy Dick Morris agreed with him.
Three Top News Stories Ignored by O'Reilly
- 5-28-08 -- And one of these stories is O'Reilly's own pet project, the new GI Bill. The House passed it with 256 votes, and it passed with 75 votes in the Senate, the vote was 75 to 22, and the 22 no votes were all made by Republicans. In February O'Reilly said he would do shows every month on the progress of the Bill and report if anyone opposed it. But to this day no other segments have been done on the Bill, even though O'Reilly told Congressman Peter King he would have him back on every month until it passes.
It passed and O'Reilly not only did not have Peter King back on every month, he never reported it at all. Obama and Clinton voted in favor of the bill. John McCain skipped the vote, he did not vote, which is the same as a no vote. He is opposed to the Bill, he did not vote no because he did not want to be on the record with a no vote, so he did not vote at all.
Can you imagine what O'Reilly would say if Obama and Clinton did not vote, or voted no. O'Reilly would call them un-American traitors who hate the troops, yet McCain does not vote and O'Reilly says nothing. Even after he said he would call anyone out who did not support the Bill.
Former White House press secretary Scott McClellan writes in a new memoir that the Iraq war was sold to the public with a "political propaganda campaign" led by President Bush, aimed at "manipulating sources of public opinion" and "downplaying the major reason for going to war." McClellan said Vice President Cheney was "the magic man" who steered policy while leaving no fingerprints. Which is what liberals have been saying for years, and O'Reilly called them crazy left-wing loons who just hate Bush, ok Billy, McClellan is a Republican who worked for Bush, and he is now saying it, what say you?
The Washington Post even listed it under top news:
And yet O'Reilly never said a word about it last night, it was all over CNN and MSNBC, somehow Billy forgot to report on it, yeah right, and if you believe that I have a bridge to sell you. How does O'Reilly have the #1 news show on cable when he ignores 80% of the real news. Answer, because his kool-aid drinking right-wing viewers watch him no matter what he reports, or does not report. They dont watch the factor for news, they watch it to see him attack liberals, and say what they want to hear.
O'Reilly and all his Republican friends said the troops are doing great, and repeated tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan are no problem. If that is true why did the Bush VA stooge lie about the number of attempted suicides a month by US troops. And why has O'Reilly never reported it.
The VA told CBS that there were 790 attempted suicides in all of 2007. Yet shortly after, the VA's head of Mental Health, Dr. Ira Katz, wrote in an e-mail to the VA's top media adviser that there were "about 1,000 suicide attempts per month among veterans we see in our medical facilities."
VA Hides Suicide Data
Not one word of this story has been reported by Bill O'Reilly, even though he claims to support the troops. Then he is part of the Bush cover up, on the number of attempted suicides by not reporting the story. He also ignored this story.
"Pentagon figures show 40,000 U.S. troops have been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder since 2003." The number diagnosed "jumped nearly 50 percent in 2007 over the previous year, as more of them served lengthy and repeated combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan." But O'Reilly the so-called troop supporter never says a word about it.
How can he say he supports the troops while ignoring all the news stories about them. He is basically covering it up by not reporting it because it makes Bush and the Republican party look bad. O'Reilly is putting politics and his partisan bias ahead of the health of the troops.
And that's just three big stories O'Reilly has totally ignored. I could show you 4 or 5 more. He never said a word about McCain moving his fundraiser because he could not sell enough tickets. He never said a word about McCain voting with Bush 100% of the time this year, and 95% of the time last year.
He never said a word about McCain meeting with Bush behind closed doors with no camera present because it hurts McCain to be seen with Bush. And McCain recently flip flopped on the Hagee and Parsley endorsments, now he says he rejects them both, and O'Reilly never reported it. He never said a word about all the lobbyists who work for the McCain campaign, about 48 at last count, it was more, but some of them quit, and O'Reilly never reported any of that either.
The list in endless, these are real news stories, and O'Reilly has the #1 show on cable news, yet he never reports any of it. But he has plenty of time to report on kids dirty dancing, and teachers having sex with students.
Barry Nolan Fired For Telling The Truth About O'Reilly
- 5-28-08 -- Barry Nolan, a veteran TV journalist was recently fired by Comcast in Boston for protesting an award honoring Bill O'Reilly. Here is a statement by Barry.
So, I'm that TV guy who got fired by Comcast over Bill O'Reilly. I protested the fact that O'Reilly was chosen to receive the Governors Award at this year's Emmy Awards ceremony. That's the highest honor that they hand out. The important word here is: honor. It's a sad day in America when someone gets fired for telling the truth, especially when the guy is a journalist, if I remember the 2nd amendment says something about freedom of the press.
Now granted - you won't find a lot of Albert Schweitzers or Mother Teresas working in television, but at least the people who had been honored in the past had pretty much followed the part of the Hippocratic oath that says, "First, do no harm."
O'Reilly was an appalling choice, not because of his political views, but because he simply gets the facts wrong, abuses his guests and the powerless in general, is delusional, and, well, you might want to Google: Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
Plus there was that whole sexual harassment thing - the lawsuit he settled for an estimated $10 million. Not the kind of guy you normally think of when it comes time to pass out honors.
I found that most of my colleagues felt the same way. So, on May 10th at the Emmy Awards dinner, I quietly passed out a document that contained - not my opinion - but O'Reilly's own words and quotes from his sexual harassment lawsuit. And that is what got me fired. I got fired from my job on a news and information network for reporting demonstrably true things in a room full of news people.
Normally, in the great scheme of things - this should be a total non-story. "Overpaid White Guy Gets Fired from Cushy Job for Shooting Mouth Off." Yawn. But these are not normal times. After the word got out that I was fired - I started hearing from people from all over the country who were outraged. A guy in Texas who had once worked with O'Reilly and had seen a meltdown like the one on Youtube - a weather anchor in Arizona - a woman in China no less.
And it all got me to thinking about the myth of free speech. In today's America, speech is only "free" when you are talking down to someone less powerful that you. Speak "up" - and look out.
In your work life, they can fire you, as I found out, for quietly saying something that is widely known to be true. Put a lid on it.
And in our role as citizens, we have been told by O'Reilly to shut up, or Fox Security may pay you a visit. We are called traitors if we simply speak the truth about the absence of WMD's - the way the war is going - the disgraces of Abu Ghraib, of Gitmo, of waterboarding. Shut up.
So, when exactly do they think we have the right to speak up? To speak the quiet simple truth, to people who have more power than us?
Well, I think now would be a good time. The fog of fear is lifting. The balance of power is shifting. People are beginning to talk to each other again instead of shouting. I think it's time to reclaim the right to free speech - even if it comes at a price.
O'Reilly Still Ignoring Internet Hate Speech by Republicans About Ted Kennedy
- 5-27-08 -- As expected O'Reilly never said a word about the hundreds of comments on right-wing forums, blogs, and websites, that called for Ted Kennedy to die, and die now. Not a word, and he even did a segment tonight about Huckabee making the joke about Obama ducking from a bullet. Plus he had Tammy Bruce and a Democratic analyst on to talk about the left wishing Bush and Cheney would die.
Yet no mention of the hundreds and hundreds of Republicans who called Ted Kennedy a pig who should die, and die soon. O'Reilly is the biggest hypocrite in the media, and nobody is even close. When a few blog comments were made on liberal blogs wishing Tony Snow would die from cancer, O'Reilly lost his top and reported it for 2 weeks.
And those were anonymous comments left on a blog comments section. The right-wingers left hundreds, if not thousands of postings in a forum, calling for Kennedy to die, when you know who they are, not anonymous comments. If liberals at left-wing forums had made hundreds of postings calling for Bush Sr. to die, O'Reilly would do a week of shows on it. Yet when Republicans do it to Ted Kennedy, O'Reilly never says a word about it, ever, and it's been a week since the postings were made.
After this massive example of bias, hypocrisy, and double standards from O'Reilly, there is no more doubt that he is a biased, partisan, far right kool-aid drinker. And if anyone cant see it now, you are deaf, dumb, and blind.
O'Reilly Still Ignoring Military Analyst Propaganda Operation Story
- 5-24-08 -- Even after the House voted last thursday to ban Pentagon propaganda, and have an investigation to see if the program was illegal, O'Reilly is still ignoring the story. Not one word of this story has been reported by Bill O'Reilly, or anyone on the factor.
Josh Silver at Huffingtonpost.com writes this:
You probably didn't hear about the House voting to ban Pentagon propaganda last Thursday -- since the television networks have once again conveniently failed to cover the story. One thing is for sure, O'Reilly will never report this story, because he is a biased and dishonest journalist. A few REAL journalists are reporting this story, Keith Olbermann reported it, Bill O'Reilly has not.
But in a surprise move, a 2009 defense policy bill passed with an amendment, sponsored by Rep. Paul Hodes (D-N.H.), that outlaws the Defense Department from engaging in "a concerted effort to propagandize" the American people. The measure would also force an investigation by the Government Accountability Office into efforts to plant positive news stories about the war in U.S. media.
An April 20 front-page New York Times article first reported how the Pentagon cultivated and coached more than 75 former military officers who became regulars on Fox News, CNN, the broadcast networks, and even NPR. One week later, the Pentagon announced that it would suspend the "briefing" program pending an internal review, which is continuing. On May 13, watchdog Media Matters documented that analysts in the Pentagon's program appeared or were quoted in major outlets more than 4,500 times.
If the Senate also passes the propaganda ban, it will send a strong message to the Pentagon and other government agencies that the Congress will not allow the continued manipulation of public opinion.
Congress should hold high-profile hearings to get to the bottom of the Pentagon program and force the issue into the news. If the networks won't cover it, at least C-SPAN will.
Two things are certain. First, consolidated, corporate media is failing to provide critical journalism, and is aiding and abetting government propaganda. Second, this is not the last time this media blight will rear its ugly head, and as long as it does, the American public will continue to be led by the nose to support disastrous wars, policies and politicians.
O'Reilly Wrong on Iran Weapons (Will he Tell You)
- 5-22-08 -- Not only was O'Reilly wrong, but every Republican in America, and the Bush administration, who said Iran made weapons were killing Americans in Iraq, were also wrong. And yet none of them are reporting that they were wrong. O'Reilly has not said a word about it, even though it has been known since May 12th of this year.
Billy has been telling his viewers for over a year that Iran is supplying weapons to the insurgency in Iraq, and that those weapons are killing Americans. The Bush administration (including George W. Bush) has been saying the same thing, but we now know it was all LIES. How many lies will these corrupt bums tell before the American people stop believing everything they say.
They have been caught in so many lies nothing they say should ever be believed again, and that includes Bill O'Reilly. He lies about those weapons for over a year, then after it is reported none of the weapons were made in Iran, O'Reilly does not issue a correction, and he did not say he is sorry for being wrong. He just lets his viewers believe a lie, and does not report the truth, even when he knows it.
During an interview with Mike Farrell O'Reilly said this:
O'REILLY: So the situation in Iran, you say, must be defused diplomatically by conversations. And now the truth:
O'REILLY: Is there any, any tipping point? Now we know that the Iranians, you know, have made weapons, IEDs, killed American soldiers. We know they grabbed the 15 British. We know that they say they're going to develop nuclear weapons and the whole world can take a leap.
Weapons Were Not Made In Iran After AllThe question everyone should ask is why is Bill O'Reilly not reporting this story. Why is he helping the Bush administration make people believe Iran supplied weapons to Iraq that killed Americans, when he knows it is not true. Ask yourself if a non-partisan journalist would ignore this story when it reveals the truth. The answer is no, a real non-partisan Independent journalist would report this story and make sure his viewers knew the truth.
5-12-08 -- In a sharp reversal of its longstanding accusations against Iran arming militants in Iraq , the US military has made an unprecedented albeit quiet confession: the weapons they had recently found in Iraq were not made in Iran at all.
According to a report by the LA Times correspondent Tina Susman in Baghdad: "A plan to show some alleged Iranian-supplied explosives to journalists last week in Karbala and then destroy them was cancelled after the United States realized none of them was from Iran. A U.S. military spokesman attributed the confusion to a misunderstanding that emerged after an Iraqi Army general in Karbala erroneously reported the items were of Iranian origin. When U.S. explosives experts went to investigate, they discovered they were not Iranian after all."
The US, which until two weeks ago had never provided any proof for its allegations, finally handed over its "evidence" of the Iranian origin of these weapons to the Iraqi government. Last week, an Iraqi delegation to Iran presented the US "evidence" to Iranian officials. Consequently the Iraqi government announced that there is no hard evidence against Iran.
In another extraordinary event this week, the US spokesman in Iraq, Maj. Gen. Kevin Bergner, for the first time did not blame Iran for the violence in Iraq and in fact did not make any reference to Iran at all in his introductory remarks to the world media on Wednesday when he described the large arsenal of weapons found by Iraqi forces in Karbala.
In the past year, the US leaders have been relentless in propagating their charges of Iranian meddling and fomenting violence in Iraq and since the release of the key judgments of the US National Intelligence Estimate in December that Iran does not have a nuclear weaponisation programme, these accusations have sharply intensified.
The US charges of Iranian interference in Iraq too have now collapsed.
Keith Olbermann reported this story, because he is an honest journalist, O'Reilly has not reported the story, because he is a dishonest, partisan, right-wing hack, who only pretends to be a journalist, and the fact that he has ignored this story proves it.
Laura Ingraham in For O'Reilly Again
- 5-21-08 -- As expected Laura Ingraham filled in for O'Reilly again tonight, and just as I thought not one word was said about the hate comments about Kennedy calling for him to die, comments made by Republican members of right-wing websites.
It looks like Billy took the week off and will not be back until next tuesday. But he could still tell Ingraham to do a story about the hate comments on Kennedy. Sadly, I all know he wont. And I predict that when he comes back next week he will not say a word about it then either.
O'Reilly will ignore the entire story, even though the hate level from the right is off the chart, and 1000 times worse than anything ever found on the left-wing websites and blogs. It's just another example of the massive right-wing bias from Bill O'Reilly, the stunning hypocrisy, and the big double standards.
If one so-called liberal, says one bad thing about a Republican, on a left-wing website or blog, it's a national emergency for O'Reilly. He does a week of stories on it, and calls them un-American hate filled scum, and claims the entire Democratic party is filled with hate. But if hundreds and hundreds of Republicans make postings on right-wing websites, forums, and blogs, calling for Ted Kennedy to die, and die now, O'Reilly says nothing.
Then he calls that a no spin zone, and declares he is an Independent who is fair to both sides. Independent my ass, it's total right-wing bias, hypocrisy, and a double standard. Imagine the coverage this story would get on the factor if Geroge Bush Sr. almost died from a stroke, and hundreds and hundreds of liberals called for him to die on left-wing websites and blogs.
O'Reilly would do a story about it for 2 or 3 days, if not a week, with follow up segments, yet when Republicans do it, he not only does not do one segment on it, he never says a word about the story at all. If that is not bias and hypocrisy, and a double standard, then there is no such thing. And he has the nerve to criticize the rest of the media for bias, when he is more biased than anyone else he talks about, look in the mirror Billy, you are a biased right-wing joke of a pretend journalist, and that's real no spin.
More Examples of Republican Hate Speech Against Ted Kennedy
- 5-20-08 -- These postings have been there since May 17th, they are from a current thread at the conservativesforum.com, none of them have been deleted, the moderators have left every posting on the forum, and some of them have even posted in the thread. This is what real Republicans think, most of them say they want Ted Kennedy to die.
And btw, a lot of the conservatives at this forum call Obama a terrorist, and refer to him as Barack Hussein Osama. And as of 3:30pm CST, May 20, 2008 - Bill O'Reilly has not reported any of this, not one word.
You can read the hate postings at freerepublic.com here:

When is O'Reilly going to report this massive hate against Ted Kennedy from the right, the so-called right that he claims have no hate.
O'Reilly Ignores Hate Comments by Republicans Calling For Kennedy to Die
- 5-20-08 -- When someone at the liberal huffingtonpost.com blog, or the daily kos blog posted they wanted Tony Snow to die, O'Reilly did a week of shows on it hammering them every night. And that was just one or two comment postings on a blog article, posted in the comments section by an unknown person who could post under any name.
On 5-17-08 the #1 far right forum on the net, www.freerepublic.com posted two threads about Ted Kennedy. One thread had 57 replies, and 4,162 views, the other thread had 897 replies, and 41,234 views. And these are replies to an article about Ted Kennedy having a seizure, from Republicans who are members of the forum, not anonymous comments left on a blog article. So you know for a fact they are actual Republicans, because they delete any member who registers that does not tow the Republican party line. It's a Republican only forum with 100,000 members.
I can not publish every reply calling for Kennedy to die, because there are hundreds of them. And the forum moderator even locked the 897 reply thread and wrote enough, that's how bad it got, then they started another thread and the moderators had to lock it too. There was a third thread that was deleted off the forum, the entire thread went poof. Because the moderators has just spent 3 hours babysitting the 897 reply thread and they had to delete so many hate filled postings they could not keep up with it.
And yet not a word about this was mentioned on the factor last night, it was totally ignored. I copied some comments from the forum, some of them are by the moderator, but most are from actual forum members. This is a perfect example of the hate on the right, the hate that O'Reilly says does not happen, he claims stuff like this only happens on the left, and he said if they right does anything hateful he will report it. Well here it is in black and white, yet O'Reilly is silent as a mouse, and not reporting any of it.
Talking about the 897 reply thread the moderator wrote this, after 3 hours of deleting hate filled comments calling for Kennedy to DIE.
This thread has been locked, it will not receive new replies. Then even after the moderator locked the 897 reply thread the hate filled right-wingers still had to post more replies calling for Kennedy to DIE, and make other hate comments calling him scum, etc. So they started another thread that got to 57 replies before it was locked too. Here is what the moderator wrote on that one.
Locked on Saturday, May 17, 2008 02:21:09 PM by Admin Moderator, reason:
This thread has been locked, it will not receive new replies. The question is, will O'Reilly hammer the far right Republicans at freerepublic for saying Kennedy should die, or will he ignore it as he does with everything that makes Republicans look bad. Will O'Reilly call them Nazis and scum, as he did with the huffingtonpost and kos, and will he do a week of shows on it. Will O'Reilly have his staff monitor the site for hate filled postings for a month, haha. Dont hold your breath.
Locked on Saturday, May 17, 2008 05:06:22 PM by Admin Moderator, reason:
Locked. Sorry Norm, we're not in the mood to babysit another thread.
Here are some choice comments for Billy's staff to read.
To: NormsRevengeComment #4 Removed by Moderator - I wonder if Billy's staff got it before it was removed, highly doubtful. And you know it was bad if the mods removed it.
Yup. It's time for term limits to kick in.

Comment #10 Removed by Moderator - Billy, did you get it?
To: NormsRevengeNote to Billy: This person thinks it was funny to read the postings that called for Kennedy to die, even called it entertainment, and they knew they were doomed threads and that the moderators would remove the comments calling for him to die.
The only thing I want to know is this:
Why do the democrats keep going onto the TV shows speaking about this guy like he is God?
There is nothing good in him.

To: TCatsEvery time you see comment removed by moderator you know it was removed because it directly called for Kennedy to die. The hundreds of other insulting comments where they only say bad things about him, and just WISH he would die, were left on the threads, and are still there to this day, you can still go read them right now.
"The coverage almost gave me a seizure!"
I couldn't bring myself to watch any of it. Besides, there was more entertainment on the doomed threads that were posted here.

Here is a reply that calls for the Lord to make Kennedy die, and this reply was not removed by the moderator, so just imagine how bad the comments that were removed had to be to get deleted.
To: COUNTrecountAnd this Republican admits that an entire thread had to be pulled because every other comment was being deleted, so the moderator just deleted the entire thread to try and stop them from posting hate filled comments.
May the Lord's Will be done.

Folks there are pages and pages and pages of that stuff, with numerous comments removed by the moderator. And that is just a partial list of comments that had to be removed. I stopped reading the replies after posting number 250, out of 897.
Where is Billy and the hate patrol? And it's just not one or two anonymous comments left on a blog article, like Billy found at kos and the huffingtonpost, it's at least a hundred replies posted by actual Republican members of freerepublic.com.
To: NormsRevengeAnd it was not just one right-wing forum, here are some comments from the conservativesforum.com
It?s amazing how many more need to be suspended.
They are not listening to the pleas from the mods. Their hatred needs an outlet apparently.

No I don't like the guy. But I wish him a speedy recovery.
Are we going to start sounding like classless haters just like the HuffPo crowd?
I am embarassed to even be here.

Then I cordially invite you to go away.
The man is evil personified.
Not a statesman dedicated to justice and decency.
If you can't tell the difference between a people hating what is good and rejoicing in it's pain...and a people not downcast that a tyrant and traitor may be gone from among them, you do indeed need to be on another board more suitable to your submissive nature.

I do not feel a bit ashamed at hoping the fat son of a pregnant dog dies.
He can take Pelosi, Reid, Kerry, Obama, Hillary, Biden, Dodd, etc. along with him as far as I'm concerned.
I would not piss on the man if he were on fire. I'd sit back and watch him suffer.
There are 10 pages of stuff like that on the conservativesforum.com. What say you Billy?
O'Reilly Hypocrisy And Double Standards Exposed (Again)
- 5-18-08 -- When George W. Bush unfairly attacked Obama and the Democrats for saying they would talk to Iran and Hamas, he did it from FOREIGN soil. O'Reilly supported the Bush attack, and agreed with him. Even though Obama said he would only talk with them under limited conditions, the same conditions John McCain laid out in a 2006 interview, and Bush's own Secretary of Defense Gates. They both said we should talk to our enemies, yet O'Reilly never reported that fact.
And it seems we have massive hypocrisy and double standards from Billy. When Congressman Jim McDermott and Jimmy Carter criticized George W. Bush, and the Republican party from FOREIGN soil, O'Reilly and all the Republicans in America said it was an outrage. They said it was wrong to criticize Bush and the Republican party while on FOREIGN soil. Hannity and O'Reilly both flipped out and hammered both McDermott and Carter.
Yet when Bush does it they are not only silent about it, they support what he said, it's total hypocrisy, and a double standard. Not to mention many Republican and Democratic presidents have talked to their enemies in the past. Reagan did it, Nixon did it, and JFK did it. If we had not talked to Russia (through back door channels) to avoid the Cuban Missle Crisis, it could have started World War 3, and led to a nuclear destruction of the whole planet.
Bombs are not always the answer, and if you can avoid World War 3, or nuclear destruction of the whole planet, talking is smart. If you can make a deal with your enemy to avoid a war why not talk to them, it's the smart thing to do. Then if a military solution is the answer do it, but only as a last resort. The Bush administration has been stupid to not talk to our enemies, and pretty much every foreign policy expert agrees with that. Only neo-con right-wing Republicans are against talking to our enemies, and look what that got us in Iraq and Iran, an un-needed war that has made things worse, not better.
O'Reilly Unfairly Attacks Boyce Watkins Again
- 5-15-08 -- Bill O'Reilly said this last night:
Back on April 7, I warned the race-baiters on both sides to watch out and I meant it. That's why we have come down hard on Syracuse University for employing an instructor named Boyce Watkins, whose hate speech is off the chart. He's the guy who called Juan Williams a "happy negro."Boyce Watkins is guilty, his crime, telling the truth about Bill O'Reilly. What Boyce did was tell the world that Billy is a racist, and that he is using racism to attack Barack Obama so white America will not vote for him in November. O'Reilly said Boyse Watkins is using hate speech, where is it, quote him, show us what he said that can be considered hate speech.
Well, the latest from Watkins is this: "O'Reilly, Hannity and Limbaugh are in the same tradition as those who killed Dr. Martin Luther King and Malcolm X."
Since black Muslims murdered Malcolm, Watkins is not only a hater, he's a certified loon.
All he did was call O'Reilly out on his racism, and tell the truth about Juan Williams. That is not hate speech, it's the truth. The hate speech is coming from O'Reilly and his racist right-wing friends at FOX and the RNC. O'Reilly calls anyone on the left who disagrees with him, a hater who uses hate speech. When in reality they are just telling the truth, and there is no hate speech anywhere.
This is what the RNC, FOX News, and Bill O'Reilly have been doing. They are trying to make white America think Obama is a muslim, when he is a christian. And they are trying to demonize Obama, by using racism to label him un-American.
O'Reilly makes racist statements, or uses racist attacks on Obama, and he does it almost every night. Then after someone like Boyce Watkins calls O'Reilly out on his racism against Obama, O'Reilly tries to turn the tables, and calls him a race baiter. This is an old PR tactic, when you are attacked, attack the person who is attacking you, and try to make them the bad guy.
Anyone with half a brain can see right through that PR trick. And it's not gonna work Billy. O'Reilly says that anyone who attacks him for racism is a race baiter. Wrong, you are a racist, and Boyce is telling the truth about you.
O'Reilly attacks Obama almost every night using racism, then after he gets caught he has the FOX News house negro (aka uncle tom) Juan Williams come on the factor to validate his racism. He is the token black at FOX news, he is only there to make it look like FOX has a real black man on the payroll. When a real black man would never work for FOX news, and never ever agree with Bill O'Reilly on anything.
Yet once or twice a week O'Reilly puts the house negro Juan Williams on the factor to validate his racism, and to agree with everything he says. Juan is like a black version of Joe Lieberman. He pretends to be a Democrat, then agrees with everything O'Reilly and his right-wing friends say. A real Democrat disagrees with O'Reilly 99% of the time. Yet Juan Williams goes on the factor and agrees with O'Reilly 99% of the time.
Here is the real truth, O'Reilly, FOX News, and the Republicans, are trying to make white America think Obama agrees with all the crazy stuff Pastor Wright said, in the cherry picked, out of context video clips, that were played a thousand times in a month on the factor, and the FOX News network.
They are trying to link Obama with Farrakhan, even though Obama denounced and rejected him. All of that is racism, every word of it. They are trying to make white America think Barack Obama is a combination of Pastor Wright and Louis Farrakhan. That is racism, and if Obama were not a liberal black man, none of it would be happening.
It's a bunch of white Republicans using racism to attack a liberal black man who is running for president, and that's a fact. They are trying to scare white America away from voting for Barack Obama. It's total racism, yet O'Reilly claims he does not use racist tactics, and he is not a racist.
He is a liar, a flat out 100% right-wing liar. O'Reilly has spent the last 3 months attacking Obama with racist tactics. Virtually every night O'Reilly tries to link Obama with Pastor Wright, or Louis Farrakhan, or Jesse Jackson, or any other black man in the world the Republicans hate, and none of that would happen if Obama were a white man.
O'Reilly never talks about the issues when he reports on Obama, it's all personal racist attacks that try to make his viewers think Obama is a muslim man, who is half Pastor Wright, and half Louis Farrakhan. This is not blatant in your face racism like Archie Bunker would use, it's hidden racism. It send a message to white America, that Obama is a scary muslim black man with crazy far left communist views, so you should not vote for him, when it is all lies.
Barack Obama is a christian American from Chicago, he loves America, and wants to be president so he can get this country back on the right track, and undo the damage done by George W. Bush, and the Republican party over the last 7.5 years. And the racist O'Reilly is going to do everything in his power to help John McCain win in November, because he is a Republican, but mostly because he is white. and a lot of Republicans are racists who hate african Americans.
They (O'Reilly & his right-wing friends) think playing the race card will get McCain elected, well I have news for you scumbag racists, it's not gonna work, the American people will reject you, and Barack Obama will be the next president of the United States of America.
O'Reilly Factor Should be Called The No-News Factor
- 5-14-08 -- The most significant political news, by far, was Democrat Travis Childers commanding victory in the First District of Mississippi. He won a special election for a seat that has been in Republican control for 15 years, and won it by 8 points. The Republicans spent a lot of money to win this special election, and even had Dick Cheney go to Mississippi to campaign for the Republican. They ran ads linking the Democrat to Obama and Pastor Wright, and they tried every trick in the book, yet they still lost. Just look at some of the headlines:
Newsmax: GOP Loses Congressional Election, Faces Bloodbath in Nov.And yet Bill O'Reilly never said a word about this big political news story, but he has all the time in the world to report on dirty dancing in a Memphis high school, and William Shatners new book about people who hate him.
Hot Air: Democrat beats Republican in Mississippi special election; Update: Panic time, say Boehner, Cole
Red State: Clean House at the NRCC
RCP: GOP Stunned By Loss in Mississippi
NRO: We Are Totally Frakked
Politico: Cole issues surrender declaration following Mississippi loss
This whole statement is an admission by Cole that he does not know how House Republicans can win in November as a group, so each member better protect himself or herself. To his credit, Cole has been warning his members that they need to run as outsiders this fall, but beyond that general admonition, the Oklahoma Republican can't show them a path to victory. It's an extraordinary statement by the head of a national campaign committee, but it is not one that's going to inspire any warm feelings from his GOP colleagues.
MSNBC: Why GOP's Mississippi House loss resonates
Stunning? Only if you haven't been paying attention in recent weeks.
Sickening? Yes, if you are a Republican.
US News: Mississippi Burning
The message is clear: Voters are angry with the Bush-Cheney administration, and some punishment is forthcoming. The economy, the war in Iraq, and the president's bull-headedness on the environment and energy are all in play
First Read: House GOPers Stomping Mad Over Prospects
House GOP leaders huddle at 11 a.m. today. That will be watched closely for any possibility of an insurrection against leadership in the wake of this third consecutive loss of a GOP seat.
This is a devastating, crushing, soul-shattering loss for the Republican Party. They had no excuses to lose this race, yet they did, and they lost quite badly. Republican leadership should be absolutely terrified...and it seems they are. The terse Boehner is obviously pissed:
"We've got to do a better job, added Boehner, who said unspecified changes to the National Republican Congressional Committee would be on the agenda when GOP leaders meet later in the day."
NRCC Chairman Tom Cole sounds like he's ready to clean out his desk:
NRCC Chairman Tom Cole of Oklahoma admitted he is on the hot seat. Asked if he might be replaced, Cole said, "Nobody's talking to me about anything like that yet, but I said yet."
And one of his predecessors, the retiring Tom Davis, sounds like he can't wait to get the hell out:
Republicans were downbeat after their conference meeting. Asked about the GOP mood, Rep. Thomas M. Davis III , R-Va., stomped his foot on the Capitol corridor floor. "This is the floor. We're underneath the floor," said Davis, a former NRCC chairman who is not seeking re-election.
The Republican Party is at its lowest point in literally decades, perhaps since 1974. It's the 3rd special election in a row they have lost, and every one was a seat that had been held for 15 to 20 years by a Republican. And yet this big political news story is not even mentioned on the factor. It's a bad sign for the Republicans in November, that is why O'Reilly does not report it.
Just like O'Reilly stopped reporting the Bush approval ratings when they dropped below 40 percent, but when the Bush approval ratings were 60 or 70 percent, he mentioned it pretty much every night. Billy only reports good news about Republicans, and he ignores the bad news.
O'Reilly a Favorite of Bush Propaganda Team
- 5-14-08 -- As more and more evidence comes out it looks like O'Reilly was a favorite of the Bush propaganda team, because they knew he would parrot their talking points and spin like a good little Republican. They took him on a tour of Gitmo, knowing he would write about it, and talk about it on his radio and tv shows. And O'Reilly had to know it was a propaganda tour, because they took the military analysts on the same tour, and they admitted they knew it was propaganda.
Here is a report on it:
Last month, the Pentagon released a document collection on its military analyst propaganda program, but only after the NY Times sued them to get the 8000 pages of documents. The article they loved so much was called "The Truth About Guantanamo Bay." O'Reilly wrote it after what we now know was a Bush run propaganda tour with O'Reilly, who was taken to Gitmo. They knew he would help them put out their talking points, and he knew it was nothing but a propaganda operation.
In a July 2006 e-mail between Public Affairs official Jeffrey Gordon and other Pentagon officials, Gordon attached several articles on detention policy by right-wing talkers, including Bill O'Reilly and Michelle Malkin, that he said were "thoughtful." In a later e-mail, Gordon said officials could use the articles "with military analysts as appropriate." His initial e-mail lauded the right-wing voices (p. 5808):
From: Gordon, Jeffrey D LCDR OSD PA
To: Ruff, Eric, SES, OSD; Bryan Mr OSD PA; Keck, Gary L Col OSD PA; AFIS-HQ/PIA
Sent: Thursday, July 06, 2006 6:38 PM
Subject: RE: articles on detainees
As requested, attached document contains four thoughtful articles/columns about Guantanamo, from Charles Krauthammer, Bill O'Reilly and Michelle Malkin. I have a call out to OGC and DoJ to provide some inputs as well. I Envision that I will have more material tomorrow a.m.
What were the "thoughtful" remarks of Malkin and O'Reilly on detention policy? In the Malkin column, she said that a "far greater threat" than Guantanamo to America is the "unseriousness and hypocrisy of the terrorist-abetting left." O'Reilly said there were only "minor cases of abuse" there. In fact, when news broke of suicides at the prison, Malkin's reaction was "boo-freaking hoo."
Yet he still went, and then came back to write that article and be a part of their propaganda operation. And to this day O'Reilly has not told his viewers that he was used by the Bush administration for propaganda reasons. And in fact, he said the far left and the media, were the ones putting out the propaganda on Iraq, and he was the one telling the truth.
When we now know it was the exact opposite, that the far left and the media were telling the truth, and it was O'Reilly who was putting out the propaganda. And we know that O'Reilly is covering it all up by not saying a word about the military analyst scandal, or any of the 8000 pages of documents the NY Times story uncovered.
O'Reilly even told his viewers that everyone else in the media is lying to you, and that he is the only truth teller, so you should go to him for the truth. When we know he was lying and spinning for the Bush administration, but he fails to disclose it, so he is the liar, and the propagandist.
The fact that he has totally ignored the military analyst story shows how dishonest he is, a real journalist would be doing reports on it every night for a week, with follow up reports. But O'Reilly has not said a word about it, not one word.
Dr. Boyce Watkins vs Bill O'Reilly
- 5-13-08 -- Why The O'Reilly Factor is Becoming a Non-Factor and why Bill O'Reilly is Feeling Threatened. (Juan Williams lost his credibility a long time ago)
A few days ago, we began talk of holding Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity accountable for their racialized smearing of Senator Barack Obama and Rev. Jeremiah Wright. This event was only the latest in non-stop racial attacks by those in the "Axis of Ignorance", engaging in consistent social terrorism of people of color. Many of us sat angry and hurt as we felt defenseless to counter the lies being told on airwaves and media channels that distort elections and mute black voices across America.
Hundreds of you emailed us back with great ideas, including Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who reminded us of the importance of engaging in action and not feeling that we are powerless to respond. We also heard from individuals affiliated with the Obama campaign, who reminded us to keep believing in our power to overcome. In my mind, the issue is not whether Pastor Wright was right to speak, or if Senator Obama was right to denounce him. The issue was that two powerful, intelligent black men were being forced to end their 20 year relationship because racist individuals decided to paint an educated ex-Marine with a critical mind as an unpatriotic lunatic. I have dealt with O'Reilly and Hannity up close on MANY occasions, and I can assure you that they DO NOT have the interests of black people at heart.
While O'Reilly, Limbaugh and Hannity have a right to speak freely, I am sure many of you agree that they should not be allowed to attack your leaders using your money. So, to help the cause, we've gathered a list of corporate sponsors for Fox News. I would like to thank Andrea Hatter, a respected novelist and member of the Your Black World Family, for providing this list. If you would like to write or call these sponsors and also complain to the FCC about what you're seeing on the airwaves, the information is there for you.
Please forward this link to anyone else concerned with the activities of Fox News. We are not out to trample on their freedom of speech. We are just seeking to keep them from trampling our freedom of speech and using our money to do it. We don't have to support corporations that support this kind of behavior, that is our fundamental right as Americans.
Here are some email addresses and phone numbers for producers on Fox News. Even Bill O'Reilly's address is included. If the spirit moves you, you may choose to email or call one of the producers for the O'Reilly Factor and tell them how you feel. The O'Reilly Factor should change its name to "God Damn America", for O'Reilly is damning our great nation by enabling its addiction to racism. Sincerely,
Dr. Boyce Watkins

Banning Bill O'Reilly -- The Patriotic Thing to Do
O'Reilly's Meltdown: F*ck it! F*cking thing sucks!
- 5-13-08 -- Between 1989 and 1995, Bill O'Reilly hosted the tabloid entertainment program "Inside Edition." A new behind-the-scenes video from his time there has surfaced, showing O'Reilly flipping out because of a teleprompter malfunction. "I can't read it! There's no words on it!" shouts O'Reilly.
CBS has ordered YouTube to take down the video, but it can still be viewed here.
UPDATE: O'Reilly tried to explain his rant by making a joke about it:
O'REILLY: "That video was just me practicing for my conversations with Geraldo."
But if you watch the video, you see that O'Reilly is so mad he goes into a profanity filled f-bomb tirade, just because the teleprompter is not working. It looks like his head is going to explode, and if you ask me, normal people do not get that mad over a teleprompter not working. It looks like O'Reilly has anger management problems, nobody should get that mad over something so trivial.
Tape That Mentions O'Reilly Comes Out in Military Analyst Scandal
- 5-13-08 -- John Amato at www.crooksandliars.com has published an audio tape in the military analyst scandal that mentions Bill O'Reilly, here is what he wrote about it.
AMATO: I have to give Howard Kurtz some credit because he hasn't backed away from the Military Generals scandal. He plays audio from one of the military analysts who was part of the propaganda scandal with the Pentagon and who lovingly praises Rumsfeld. It looks like O'Reilly was used in the same way that Dick Cheney used Russert in spreading their talking points to the American people. Here is a quote from Howard Kurtz and a quote from the tape.
What say you, O'Reilly?
Kurtz: The networks continue to ignore that New York Times story about TV's military analysts getting briefings and talking points from the Pentagon as they defended the Iraq war effort.O'Reilly was being used like a puppet, and they even say they have him eating out of their hand. Yet, to this day O'Reilly has not told his viewers that he was used by the Pentagon to put their spin and propaganda out. Not one word of this big story has ever been reported by Bill O'Reilly, or anyone, on the factor. I guess he is too busy reporting on kids at school dances, dirty dancing, and books about how to be a prostitute.
We reported twice on this program a huge batch of documents and e-mails show how cozy that relationship was. But now comes an audiotape of it, about a 2006 meeting between more than a dozen analysts and Don Rumsfeld, in which some of the retired military officers are giving the secretary advice on selling the war.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We would love for you to take the offensive and just go out there and just crush these people. You are the leader. You're our guy. You go on O'Reilly, and you've got him eating out of your hand because you're smart.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
KURTZ: Eating out of your hand. And these men were presenting themselves to television viewers as objective military analysts.
O'Reilly Still Ignoring Big Military Analyst Scandal
- 5-11-08 -- Even after 40 members of the House, and majority leader in the Senate Harry Reid has called for investigations and hearings into the military analyst scandal, a program that was illegal btw, O'Reilly is still silent, and has not reported one word about this story.
In fact, all of the media has been silent, not just O'Reilly, except for one mention on ABC News, and one mention on PBS. That means FOX, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, and CBS have all been silent on the story. Even though it was an illegal Government propaganda operation run by the Pentagon and 75 military analysts that had them knowingly lie to the American people about the progress in Iraq and Afghanistan.
5-10-08 - Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid promised that the Senate would be holding hearings on the Pentagon's propaganda program, which was first disclosed by the New York Times on April 20. Reid's announcement is the first time the Senate leadership has indicated that it intends to hold hearings.
5-2-08 - Rep. Rosa Delauro (D-CT) and 39 other members of Congress are calling on the DOD's Office of the Inspector General to release more information on what she deemed an "unethical and potentially illegal" campaign to place sympathetic generals and military personnel into influential analysts roles on television.

"When the Department of Defense misleads the American people by having them believe that they are listening to the views of objective military analysts when in fact these individuals are simply replaying DoD talking points, the department is clearly betraying the public trust," the Connecticut Democrat wrote.
"Moreover, when these analysts are simultaneously representing defense contractors, the apparent conflict of interest can easily lead to fraud and abuse. We find this deeply troubling, and expect you will share our deep concern."
In a 4-28-08 article The Center for Media and Democracy writes this:
The Pentagon military analyst program unveiled in last week's expose by David Barstow in the New York Times was not just unethical but illegal. It violates, for starters, specific restrictions that Congress has been placing in its annual appropriation bills every year since 1951. According to those restrictions, "No part of any appropriation contained in this or any other Act shall be used for publicity or propaganda purposes within the United States not heretofore authorized by the Congress."This is not just a scandal for the Government, it's also a scandal for the media, they are as guilty as the Pentagon for allowing it to happen. They are now ashamed they did it, that's why they refuse to report the story. O'Reilly and FOX should be most ashamed, because they were the biggest cheerleaders for the war, and all of their military analysts were part of the massive propaganda operation.
As explained in a March 21, 2005 report by the Congressional Research Service, "publicity or propaganda" is defined by the U.S. Government Accountability Office to mean either (1) self-aggrandizement by public officials, (2) purely partisan activity, or (3) "covert propaganda." By covert propaganda, GAO means information which originates from the government but is unattributed and made to appear as though it came from a third party.
Yet they are not saying a word, they dont want the American people to know they let the Government run a propaganda operation on their network for 5 years. O'Reilly claims the media is liberal, yet all of the media let the Government use them to put out propaganda, including CNN, MSNBC, and NBC. If they are so liberal why would they let the Bush/Cheney Government put out right-wing propaganda through military analysts for 5 years?
O'Reilly claims he is an honest journalist who will tell you the truth. So when is he going to start telling the truth, when?
What say you Billy?
Republican NY Congressman to Resign After DUI Arrest - O'Reilly Silent
- 5-9-08 -- WNBC reports that Rep. Vito Fossella (R-NY) is expected to announce his resignation ?within the next 72 hours -- if not late Friday then certainly by Monday."
On May 1st, Fossella was arrested in Alexandria, VA, and charged with driving while intoxicated. Yesterday, he issued a statement admitting that he had an "extramarital affair with Laura Fay, a former Air Force lieutenant colonel, and that the two of them have a 3-year-old daughter together."
This was 8 days ago, and O'Reilly has not said a word about it. Even though Fosella is a Congressman from the State of New York, where O'Reilly does his radio and tv show, and the State where he lives. The guy gets caught driving drunk, then admists he cheated on his wife, and O'Reilly is silent. If he were a Democrat Billy would do a week of shows on it, with follow up shows.
Political Alert: O'Reilly's Softball McCain Interview
- 5-9-08 -- Last night O'Reilly did a softball McCain interview, he spent about 2 seconds on the crazy Pastor Hagee, and never even quoted what he said that was so insane, but he spent 2 months on what Obama's Pastor said.
O'Reilly covered for McCain by saying he had little interaction with Hagee other than "having breakfast" with him once. In fact, as Newsweek pointed out, "McCain personally wooed Hagee for more than a year." Indeed, Hagee's endorsement was an integral part of McCain's attempts to woo religious conservatives.
Talking about his tax plan, McCain said 100 million people in America get capitol gains, and O'Reilly sat there and let him spin his head off with that right-wing propaganda. The truth is far from what McCain and O'Reilly want you to believe.
-- According to the Tax Policy Center, Households earning less than $50,000 a year collected a mere 2.5 percent of capital gains.
-- Families earning more than $1 million a year collected 59 percent of capital gains.
-- And, most middle-class families with capital gains hold their investments in retirement accounts shielded against capital gains taxes.
-- Only 7 percent of all taxpayers report capital gains in any given year, and over two-thirds of the gains reported went to people making over $200,000 a year.
Although it's true that most Americans own capital assets (like homes or businesses), they sell them only one or two times in their life. The rich, on the other hand, make most of their annual income in capital gains, and deal in them constantly. That is why a capital gains tax cut would overwhelmingly benefit the rich.
According to IRS records, 93 percent of all Americans filing tax returns receive no capital gains income in any given year. Of the 7 percent who do, two-thirds of the gains go to those making over $200,000 a year.
O'Reilly asked McCain about his health care plan, it's a $2,500 tax cut for a single person, or $5,000 for a family, McCain said it has bold solutions, of course O'Reilly loved it, and said it's great compared to the Obama plan. As usual it was all right-wing propaganda, and O'Reilly never asked about any of the details.
Here's a little reminder of what those "bold solutions" entail:
-- Boldly leave 56 million people with pre-existing conditions vulnerable in the private market
-- Boldly threaten coverage for 158 million workers
-- Boldly let insurance companies refuse coverage to folks with diabetes, heart disease, cancer, or dangerous jobs
-- Boldly dole out a $2 billion tax cut for big insurance companies
-- Boldly raise taxes on some families who buy health insurance
-- Boldly propose a plan that costs $3.6 trillion over 10 years, over double what Clinton's or Obama's cost
-- Boldly rely on expensive, debunked methods to only partially cover the poor and uninsured
-- Boldly slash funding for hospitals that serve the uninsured without a plan for universal coverage
-- Boldly deny coverage to a 9-year-old child with a cleft palate
And the women of America should read this before you vote for John McCain, it's about equal pay, and O'Reilly never even addressed the issue.
Just in time for Mother's Day, Senator John McCain opposed the Fair Pay Act--a bill that would help guarantee women equal pay for equal work. The bill simply would have restored critical anti-discrimination rules that the Supreme Court struck down in a recent decision, and failed by just three votes.
Adding insult to injury, McCain said that the solution to employment discrimination was for women to get more "education and training."
Maybe that made some sense in his day, but today with women outnumbering men on college campuses, it makes none. Study after study has shown that women are paid less than men for the same work, even when they have the same education and training. Senator McCain and his Republican allies have chosen to stand in the way of enforcement of a law that's been on the books protecting women for 40 years.
Pay equity is a serious issue that faces women and mothers all across America. Consider these key facts:
-- Women make less for the same work. On average, women who work full time all year only make $0.77 for every dollar their male counterparts make.Pay equity is a serious issue that faces women and mothers all across America.America had an enforceable equal pay law from 1964 to May 2007, until the Conservative Supreme Court ruled against Lilly Ledbetter. Lilly Ledbetter worked for Goodyear Tire for 19 years, and got paid less than any man. She didn't learn until near the end of her employment that she was earning less for the same work. She sued and she won. But then the Supreme Court in a 5 to 4 decision overturned her award saying she failed to bring her suit within 180 days of the first discriminatory act.
-- The pay gap is even worse for mothers. Mothers only make $0.73 to a man's dollar and single mothers only make about $0.60 to a man's dollar.
-- Wage discrimination cuts across educational levels. For example, for workers 25 years old or older who had some high school education, women's annual earnings were around $15,162, compared to $24,092 for men. But even earning a bachelor's degree didn't help. Women with a bachelor's degree made around $38,221 a year, while men at the same level made $55,425.
-- In some places, the pay gap has actually increased. A study done by the U.S. Government Accounting Office found that women managers across 10 industries not only made less than their male counterparts, but in seven of those industries the pay gap had actually increased between 1995 and 2001.
With this single stroke, they gutted the ability to enforce the law. The Fair Pay Act simply restores the ability to enforce a law that's been on the books for forty years. Senator McCain's statements aren't just misinformed-they're a sad reminder that a lot of politicians are totally out of touch with the hard realities facing working women.
And last night O'Reilly never said a word about the pay discrimination against women, or the fact that John McCain voted against the fair pay act.
O'Reilly Hypocrisy & Non-Disclosure
- 5-8-08 -- Last night Karl Rove appeared on the O'Reilly Factor where he was greeted by host Bill O'Reilly as the network's "political guy." O'Reilly asked Rove to help him come up with questions for his interview with Sen. John McCain, which airs tonight. This totally weak brainstorming session eventually turned into a McCain love fest between O'Reilly and Rove:
ROVE: I think you ought to ask McCain why he is so reticent to talk about himself personally....He's the most private person I've ever seen in my life. It's not surprising that Rove wants McCain to talk about his background more, since he helped orchestrate the senator's biography tour. Of course though, Rove's ties as an informal adviser, avid supporter, and maxed out donor to the McCain campaign were once again never identified.
O'REILLY: And he -- but he's wrote books on it. See, that's the inconsistency.... He writes it in a book, but he won't go out and talk. I think he may be shy about it.
ROVE: Well, and it's something -- there's an admirable reticence in him. But yes, he may be comfortable having Mark Salter pry it out of him and put it in a book.
O?Reilly ended the segment by saying McCain should take his lead and "bloviate all over the place about how great you are."
O'Reilly's refusal to disclose Rove's ties is a double standard and total hypocrisy.
In 2004, O'Reilly criticized CNN for keeping on Paul Begala and James Carville as commentators, even though they had ties to Sen. John Kerry's presidential campaign.
Dan Abrams reported this in September 2004:
Fox commentator Bill O'Reilly writes that this is evidence of the "collapse of CNN's ethical standards." That if he, O'Reilly, "signed on with Bush/Cheney 2004 the media mob would have stormed the Fox castle."
This is just more evidence of the double standards and the hypocrisy from Bill O'Reilly. And btw, after Rove was on, O'Reilly had Dick Morris, Dennis Miller, and Mary Katharine Ham, from townhall.com on to discuss poiltics. It was all conservatives, all the time, with no Democrat or liberal on in the entire hour to counter any of the right-wing propaganda they spewed out.
O'Reilly Has Totally Ignored The BIG Military Analyst Corruption Story
- 5-6-08 -- On April 20, 2008 the NY Times did an 11 page article on the military analysts who go on tv called "Behind TV Analysts, Pentagon's Hidden Hand." These guys were basically part of a giant propaganda operation run out of the white house, and almost every military analyst on FOX was part of it.
O'Reilly has not said one word about this story, not a word. Even though all the military analysts at FOX were part of the Bush propaganda operation. Every one of them was being run like a puppet to put out the Bush administration talking points, and O'Reilly has not said a word.
They were put on the air to lie to the American people about what was really happening in Iraq. And the media (including Bill O'Reilly) allowed this to happen, they allowed you to be lied to by partisan and biased military analysts, who were working for Tori Clarke and the Bush administration propaganda operation. And they allowed this for years, from before the war started in 2002 until 2007, that we know of.
Then after they found out what the Bush administration was doing with the corrupt military analysts, they made it even worse by covering it up and not telling the American people what they let happen. To this day O'Reilly has not told his viewers, that all the military analysts he put on the air, were partisan hacks working for the Bush administration's propaganda operation.
Here are some quotes from the article:
In the summer of 2005, the Bush administration confronted a fresh wave of criticism over Guantanamo Bay. The detention center had just been branded "the gulag of our times" by Amnesty International, there were new allegations of abuse from United Nations human rights experts and calls were mounting for its closure.Three weeks after the NY Times billboarded the news above-the-fold on Page 1, neither FOX or Bill O'Reilly had reported their roles in the Pentagon propaganda program. In fact, they appeared allergic to the controversy. Despite the fact that the NY Times story ignited congressional inquiries, raised doubts about the legality of the program, and prompted the Pentagon to suddenly halt the initiative altogether, FOX news and Bill O'Reilly considered the issue to have zero news value.
The administration's communications experts responded swiftly. Early one Friday morning, they put a group of retired military officers on one of the jets normally used by Vice President Dick Cheney and flew them to Cuba for a carefully orchestrated tour of Guantanamo.
To the public, these men are members of a familiar fraternity, presented tens of thousands of times on television and radio as "military analysts" whose long service has equipped them to give authoritative and unfettered judgments about the most pressing issues of the post-Sept. 11 world.
Hidden behind that appearance of objectivity, though, is a Pentagon information apparatus that has used those analysts in a campaign to generate favorable news coverage of the administration's wartime performance, an examination by The New York Times has found.
The effort, which began with the buildup to the Iraq war and continues to this day, has sought to exploit ideological and military allegiances, and also a powerful financial dynamic: Most of the analysts have ties to military contractors vested in the very war policies they are asked to assess on air.
Records and interviews show how the Bush administration has used its control over access and information in an effort to transform the analysts into a kind of media Trojan horse -- an instrument intended to shape terrorism coverage from inside the major TV and radio networks.
Analysts have been wooed in hundreds of private briefings with senior military leaders, including officials with significant influence over contracting and budget matters, records show. They have been taken on tours of Iraq and given access to classified intelligence. They have been briefed by officials from the White House, State Department and Justice Department, including Mr. Cheney, Alberto R. Gonzales and Stephen J. Hadley.
In turn, members of this group have echoed administration talking points, sometimes even when they suspected the information was false or inflated. Some analysts acknowledge they suppressed doubts because they feared jeopardizing their access.
A few expressed regret for participating in what they regarded as an effort to dupe the American public with propaganda dressed as independent military analysis.
"It was them saying, 'We need to stick our hands up your back and move your mouth for you,'" Robert S. Bevelacqua, a retired Green Beret and former Fox News analyst, said.
Kenneth Allard, a former NBC military analyst who has taught information warfare at the National Defense University, said the campaign amounted to a sophisticated information operation. "This was a coherent, active policy," he said.
As conditions in Iraq deteriorated, Mr. Allard recalled, he saw a yawning gap between what analysts were told in private briefings and what subsequent inquiries and books later revealed.
"Night and day," Mr. Allard said, "I felt we'd been hosed."
We have known all this since April 20, 2008. Yet Bill O'Reilly has said nothing, not one word has been reported about this massive deception by the Bush administration, the media, Bill O'Reilly, or anyone on the factor. And he claims to be an honest journalist, who says he only deals in the facts, and that all the other journalists are lying to you.
When O'Reilly was involved in one of the most dishonest propaganda operations ever put out by a presidential administration. Yet he says nothing, and even helped to cover the story up by not reporting it. Read that 11 page NY Times story, you will be shocked at what you find out. Then think about this, how can Bill O'Reilly call himself a journalist when he fails to report this story. By not reporting it he is supporting the Government lying to you, and he is actually halping to keep a lid on the story by ignoring it.
Funny how O'Reilly has all the time in the world to report on Pastor Wright having two expensive cars, and a big mansion, but somehow he dont have time to tell the American people, that all the military analysts he put on the air for the last 7 years, were corrupt liars working for the Bush administration propaganda operation in the White House. And when the NY Times reports it, he says nothing, not a word, zero. But if the NY Times reports the war was going bad, he does a whole show on it, and puts the paid Bush military stooges on the air to tell you so.
O'Reilly Caught Lying About Clinton Interview Ratings
- 5-5-08 -- Tonight in the talking points memo O'Reilly said he had a combined 10 million viewers for the Hillary Clinton interview. The interview was played in 2 parts, on wednesday and thursday of last week. Here are the actual numbers for both nights.
The 1st part was on wednesday April 30, the total viewers were 3.664 million, with 939,000 viewers in the 25 to 54 demo. The 2nd part was on thursday May 1, the total viewers were 3.193 million, with 694,000 viewers in the 25 to 54 demo.
That is a total of 6.857 million viewers for both nights, which is not 10 million as O'Reilly claims. The average for the two nights was 3.428 million total viewers. In my world 6.8 million is not 10 million, maybe in O'Reilly's world it is, but back here in the real world it's not.
Not to mention, it is very reasonable to assume that the same 3 million people who watched the wednesday night factor at 8pm also watched thursday night at 8pm, yet O'Reilly counts them twice. What O'Reilly did is count the ratings for the 8pm show, and his 2 re-runs at 11pm each night. Except nobody else counts ratings for re-runs, when O'Reilly reports on the ratings for Countdown, or Hardball, etc, he does not add the ratings for both their shows, he only reports the ratings for their one show at 8pm.
But somehow his re-run ratings are counted when he reports on his show, when they are not counted on any other news shows that have re-runs. When Keith Olbermann has a big ratings night for a specific show, he does not add the ratings numbers for the re-run show, he only reports the ratings for the 8pm show. O'Reilly is the only person in the world who claims you can count the re-run ratings.
O'REILLY: An audience of 10 million watched my chat with Sen. Clinton over two nights on both our 8 and 11 p.m. broadcast. In addition, tens of millions more, like Sgt. Shane Puffer serving in Iraq, saw the interview on the Net or heard it on the radio. And O'Reilly failed to mention that he only had 2 million viewers on the friday night factor. So he lost 1.6 million viewers, they only tuned in wednesday and thursday to see the Clinton interview. He also failed to mention that the factor averaged 2.35 million total viewers a night for the month of April, which is a ratings drop from the 2.578 million total viewers a night he averaged for the 1st quarter of 2008.
The print press will never acknowledge that because it speaks to the power of the FOX News Channel, but the ratings are in and the interview was a smash.
More John McCain News Ignored by Fair And Balanced O'Reilly
- 5-5-08 -- Illegal immigration is the #1 issue for Bill O'Reilly, he reports on it almost every night. Even though the rest of America really dont care because it usually ranks 6th or 7th in any poll, and in those polls only 5% of Americans care about illegal immigration. McCain starts a spanish language website and O'Reilly dont say a word.
John McCain recently launched a Spanish-language campaign website, greeting voters with, "Bienvenido! Estmaos Unidos con McCain" (Welcome! We are united with McCain):
This new website comes despite the fact that McCain voted in 2006 for Sen. James Inhofe's (R-OK) amendment to "declare English as the national language of the United States and to promote the patriotic integration of prospective US citizens."
In March, McCain skipped a vote on an amendment by Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN), aimed at "blocking lawsuits by employees challenging English-only workplace rules." Both Sen. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama voted against the measure, but McCain left Washington to attend a fundraiser.
McCain is following his conservative colleagues in political pandering. In January, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney released a Spanish-language campaign ad in Florida, even though he had previously said, "English needs to be the language that is spoken in America."
Similarly, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani released a Spanish-language ad in Miami that same month. This move came despite his public embrace of an ardent English-only advocate who once said that Mexicans carry diseases into the United States because they "play and drink out of the same water."
"You should be able to have to read English, write English, and speak English if you want to become a citizen," said Giuliani.
These Republicans (including John McCain) say keep the immigrants out, if they come from Mexico, yet they never say a word about Cubans, if they make it to land they are allowed to stay. And O'Reilly never says a word about the double standards or the hypocrisy. Not to mention O'Reilly and his right-wing friends attack Obama and Clinton for missing Senate votes, yet McCain has missed 2 to 3 times more votes than Obama or Clinton, and they say nothing.
They rail against illegal immigrants, and say they must speak and read english to be in America. At the same time they are running campaign ads in spanish, and putting out spanish language websites. The hypocrisy is stunning, and if a Democrat did this O'Reilly would report on it every night. Yet John McCain and the Republicans do it and O'Reilly never says a word about it, any of it, ever, not even one time.
The bias, the double standards, and the hypocrisy from O'Reilly is through the roof. But he still claims to be a non-partisan Independent who is fair to both sides, and if you actually believe that you are living in fantasy land, or the factor land.
UPDATE: As expected (on the Monday 5-5-08 O'Reilly Factor) Billy did not say a word about the hypocrisy from John McCain by launching a spanish language campaign website. But he did promote his thursday interview with McCain, and of course he will ask about it then, right, haha, dont bet on it. This thursday interview with Billy and John McCain will be softball city.
Bill O'Reilly & George W. Bush Are Full of it on ANWR
- 5-1-08 -- George W. Bush and Bill O'Reilly say we need to drill for oil in ANWR to solve the problem of high gas prices. This is just ridiculous, and a total lie.
According to the Department of Energy, the United States currently uses nearly 20 million barrels of oil a day. If we started drilling in ANWR today it would take 7 to 14 years to get up to 780,000 barrels of oil a day.
The U.S. Department of Energy's Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported that if ANWR had been opened for development in 2005, production would have peaked at 780,000 barrels per day in 2024.This will not help us one bit today, and even if ANWR was producing 780,000 barrels of oil today it would not even be 5% of what we need. And it is estimated that 7 to 14 years from now the US will be using close to 30 million barrels of oil a day, so 780,000 barrels of oil then will be less than 5% of what we need.
The EIA's 2006 Annual Energy Outlook (AEO) report concluded that, if ANWR had been opened for development in 2005, production would have peaked at 780,000 barrels per day in 2024, falling to 650,000 barrels per day by 2030.
So even if they started drilling for oil in ANWR, it wont put a dent in the 20 million barrels of oil we use every day for at least 10 years, if not 14 years. And that is what the Energy Information Administration says, not what some Liberal says.
These facts clearly show that Bill O'Reilly and George W. Bush are lying to you, when they tell you that drilling in ANWR will help lower gas prices. It would do nothing to help us for at least 7 to 10 years, and it is not the answer to our energy and high gas price problems.
The Government should spend that money on alternative energy sources, not waste it on drilling in ANWR that wont even help us for 7 to 14 years, and by then it will be almost no help at all.
